Rentera Privacy Policy
1. General Information
This Privacy Policy explains how user information of the Rentera application is collected, used, shared, stored, and protected. For detailed legal information regarding the processing of personal data, the GDPR (KVKK) Clarification Text applies. This policy only determines the general framework regarding data processing processes.
2. Data Controller and Roles
Regarding the personal data processed within the scope of the Platform; Rentera may act as a data controller or data processor for the data belonging to its own users. For data uploaded to the Platform by the Member belonging to third parties, the Member is the data controller, and Rentera only acts as a data processor providing technical infrastructure. The Member is obliged to provide the necessary legal basis for processing third-party data in this context.
3. Collected Information
- Name, surname
- Email address, phone
- Profile information and preferences
- Rent agreement, receipt, PDF, and other uploaded documents/files
- IP address, approximate location (IP-based), session information
- Device model, operating system, application version
- Usage statistics (frequency of feature use, screen views, etc.)
- Log, error, and crash records
- Limited transaction data such as subscription/transaction ID, purchase status, and payment date
4. Payment Data
Credit card and similar sensitive payment information for payments made through the Platform are not stored by Rentera. Payment transactions are carried out and processed by the App Store, Google Play, or relevant payment infrastructure providers. Rentera may only keep limited information such as transaction status, subscription information, and transaction ID.

- Membership and account management, authentication
- Providing rent tracking, reminder, document storage, and reporting services
- Enhancing application performance and product improvements
- Detecting errors, ensuring security, and preventing abuse
- Conducting user support processes
- Fulfilling legal obligations and dispute management

6. SDKs, Cookies, and Similar Technologies
The Platform may use SDKs, cookies, and similar technologies for session management, security, error tracking, and analytics. On our website, Google Analytics is loaded with Google Consent Mode in a default denied state. Until the user grants consent, analytics cookies are not activated or stored. However, Google may still receive limited cookieless technical signals, such as consent-state information, as part of the consent mode infrastructure. 8. International Processing and Transfer
Due to Platform infrastructure and third-party service providers, data may be processed on servers located abroad. This may include analytics services such as Google Analytics if the user enables them. In these cases, data transfer is carried out within the framework of safeguard mechanisms required by applicable legislation and is limited to what is necessary.
9. Data Retention Period
Personal data is retained for the period necessary to provide the service and as long as the retention periods stipulated in the relevant legislation. In case of an account deletion request; some data may continue to be retained for legal obligations, dispute management, and security reasons. Other data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized within a reasonable time.

12. Data Belonging to Third Parties
The Member is obliged to provide the necessary explicit consent and legal basis for the data belonging to third parties uploaded to the Platform. In this context, the Member agrees that the relevant communication data (phone number, etc.) may be processed through third-party messaging platforms in order to deliver invitation and information messages sent to third parties. Regarding these data, Rentera is only in the position of a data processor and the data responsibility belongs to the Member.
13. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. It is forbidden for users under the age of 18 to use the Platform. In case such a situation is detected, the relevant accounts may be closed and the data may be deleted.
14. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party sites or services. Rentera is not responsible for the privacy practices of these services.
